Mobile Turbo-Prop Engine Test Units
Self contained transportation, test and service platform
This platform is a battery powered, remote operated unit on which several different prop-engine adapter frames can be installed as well as a hydraulic dynamometer system. The under carriage has an omniMove drive wheel system and can be rotated 360°. The total unit can be moved precisely through a narrow works environment from service spot to the test cell.

Mobile Engine Test Stand (METS)
The METS is a 20ft container size chassis in which a turbo prop engine can be tested. The chassis is fixed to the ground by means of a 20ft anchoring system. The chassis carries an A-frame, the hydraulically adjustable engine mount in which the engine is tested. Two service platforms are available. Optional equipment are an electrical load bank, start air and bleed air system, complete fuel line, fire fighting system, engine hydraulic system, throttle & condition power lever unit c/w QEC components.

Turbo-Fan Engine Test Units
Standard COMBI Adapter System type CAS
This type of Combi-Adapter will have the capacity to test both top mounted and side mounted engines viz. GE series CF34. a special Pin-Lock system is designed for the two engine types. The FADEC will have a forward mounting provision in the centre of the adapter. Adapter main service power can be pneumatic or hydraulic. Engine and cowling hoists are standard equipment. Complete cowling supporting system. All hoses and electrical services are connected to the coupling plate. Main electric cabinet with SPS to control lock-up and safety system. Rail system to move bellmouth and exhaust to the end of the main frame. Bulkhead plate with all necessary connection openings to suit your connector system. Adapter with complete main connection plate system for engine (left and right), as well as yoke connection system for side and top mounted units. Lug system to accept your elevator system. Frame excepts your transportation wagon system. bell mouth carrying frame is optional.

Turbo Fan Engine Monorail System
a. Standard model P35T, designed for an engine thrust load of 35 ton or 77.000 # as well as a weight load of engine, equipment and adapter of 15 ton. The facility can handle low thrust and low bypass engines down to 5 T (10.000 #) as well as high bypass engines up to 35 T (77.000 #)
b. Standard model P75T, designed for an engine thrust load of 75 ton or 166.000 # as well as a weight load of engine, equipment and adapter of 30 ton. The facility can handle low thrust and low bypass engines down to 5 T (10.000 #) as well as high bypass engines up to 75 T (166.000 #).

The unit is designed to withstand fan blade off, rotor seizure and engine surge without permanent distortion. A fail safe device is incorporated in the system. A special combination of floating frame and load cell systems will be able to meet the specific engine model requirements. Unit includes a fixed U-form frame connected to the test cell ceiling and a floating frame with an electronic monitored locking system to secure the engine adapter. Both fixed as floating frame allow delivery of engine adapter by a monorail system. Between the fixed frame and the floating frame, flexible high quality precision plates are mounted to allow movement. A safety system is included parallel to the to the fixture plates in the unlikely case of a plate failure. A working load cell system as well as a calibration load cell system is installed. Automatic coupling plate system includes two connector plates, one is fixed to the engine adapter and a mating plate is mounted on the thrust stand. The mating plate can be horizontally engaged or disengaged to the adapter mounted plate. All test facility engine service lines and control and instrumentation connections are permanently connected to the coupling plate. Conservation system included. Two service cranes each 3 tons for service application (cowling) are included. Small service catwalk on both sides included and conncects to room above augmentor section.
